About Dr. Aminata Dumbuya
Dr. Aminata Dumbuya is a compassionate and dedicated dentist committed to providing personalized care and creating positive, comfortable dental experiences for children and their families. She earned her Master of Science from the University of Nebraska Medical Center and her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry after completing her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry at Wayne State College. She also completed a General Practice Residency at the University of Utah.
Dr. Dumbuya believes every child deserves to feel safe, supported, and confident at the dentist. With a gentle, individualized approach, she focuses on building trust, easing dental anxiety, and helping children develop healthy habits for lifelong oral health. She also speaks Mandingo and Wolof, helping her connect and communicate with families from diverse backgrounds. Dr. Dumbuya is a member of the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry. Outside the office, she enjoys spending time with her spouse and three children, visiting the beach, cooking, playing games, and exploring new places.
